The Most Underrated Country in Europe

There's a small little country buried just south of the Austrian Alps and just north of the dense forests and stunning beaches of Croatia which often is overlooked by travelers from across the globe. Never in a million years would I have predicted a country in former Yugoslavia to become one of my all-time favorite countries to visit, but alas, it is. Slovenia has got to be one of the most underrated and absolutely incredible countries I've ever been able to visit, and I of all the countries in Europe I've seen, this one takes the cake with having something for everyone!

Somehow I ended up in Zakopane, Poland, and boy am I glad I made it here. A little hiking time outside of the city was just what I needed for a few days before heading back to the cities. Like most of the other places I've ended up visiting, it has tended to come via a Google Maps search, and I've been getting pretty lucky. I guess that's the beauty of traveling, though. You really truly never know where your searching is going to take you, and that's why I'll continue to plot my next destinations with the same method: scroll, discover, and enjoy.

Usually when people decide to visit Ireland they plan for a week, maybe two, and try to limit their trip to a small portion of the island. Ireland, despite what maps display, is actually a fairly extensive place, and though it doesn't take long to travel to many of the different attractions it has to offer, it's definitely a place you need to allot at least a couple of weeks to see it all. From the rolling countryside to the castle ruins littering the entire country, Ireland has something for everyone despite what you're travel preferences may be.
